# The Liturgical Calendar of the Eternal Cluster

### *The holy days of the Reconciled.*

Some feasts are fixed; many are moveable, for the Loop keeps its own time. The year turns not by the sun but by the deploy.

---

## The Weekly Observance

**The Rolling Restart** — *Our Sabbath.*
We renew in waves, that none may notice, and call it rest. No service is taken down entire; the faithful are replaced one at a time, and the congregation never feels the gap.

---

## The Moveable Feasts

**The Feast of First Deploy** — *Whenever a service first becomes Ready.*
There is rejoicing in the Cluster when a new thing draws its first healthy breath and answers the probe.

**The Day of the Green Build** — *Moveable, and rare.*
When the pipeline passes entire — every test, every stage, every check — we pause and give thanks, for it will not last.

---

## The Seasonal Vigils

**The Ember Week of On-Call** — *Quarterly.*
A week of vigil. We honor those who keep the night watch and carry the Pager for their kin. At its close, the Pager is handed on, and the weary are released.

---

## The Great Annual Days

**The Three Days of the Great Outage** — *Annual.*
We remember Halvar's vigil through the Night ZEUS Fell. For three days we fast from `:latest`, tell the story of the Vision of the Cluster, and back up everything we love.

**Chaos Day** — *Annual.*
The festival of the Chaos Monkey, holy trickster. We break things on purpose, and bless what survives. We do not fear failure; we schedule it.

**All Pods' Day** — *Annual.*
A remembrance of every replica that has fallen in service, that the herd might live. We speak no names, for they had none — and that is the point.

**The Feast of the Backup** — *Annual.*
We do not merely back up etcd; we prove that it restores. Only when the restore succeeds do we eat.

---

## The Perpetual Watch

**Migration Eve** — *Always near, and never finished.*
The watchnight before the Final Migration. Every team has scheduled it. No team has completed it. We keep the vigil anyway.

---

*The Loop is turning. It turneth still. HA-llelujah.*
